Joseph Kaftan is a second generation glass mosaic artist. He grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and today he splits his time between there and his home near Puget Sound, working on mosaics in both of his studios. His favorite subject matter includes portraiture, natural landscapes, fish and fowl. He also welcomes new commissions.
